A Big Bang collaborative event where fics writers and fan artists are paired to create new content based on a specific theme or fandom.
A challenge to complete a long-form fic and a piece of art within a set deadline, with the finished works being posted together at the end of the event.
Sign-ups: Writers and artists sign up for the event, often by submitting a summary of their planned work for writers or expressing interest in illustrating certain types of stories for artists.
Pairing: Organizers (mods) pair writers and artists based on the submissions.
Creation Period: Writers work on their fanfiction, while artists create illustrations or comics based on the story summaries. Writers will often send their story drafts to their artist partners for them to work from.
Posting: After a set period of writing and creating, the final fanfiction and artwork are posted on a specific date, with both partners posting their work and linking to each other's creations.

🍒Can I participate if I'm under 18?
Sorry, this is an 18+ only big bang event. By signing up, you are confirming that you are over 18. Please don't join this event if you're a minor.
🍒What is the minimum word count for this big bang event?
Your completed story must be 10k words minimum. There is no max word count, though, so don't hold back if you're on a roll!
🍒What are the art requirements for this event?
Art pieces should be fully rendered. Comics may be done in greyscale.
🍒Can my creation be NSFW?
Because this is an 18+ only event, both SFW and NSFW art and fics are allowed.
🍒What if I need to drop out of the event before the end?
Keep in mind before signing up that this event requires a commitment of several months, and you'll be one half of a partnership. Please try your very best to see this event through to the end, but reach out to one of the mods if you feel you won't be able to complete your work.
Ghosting your partner or ceasing communications with the mod team completely may result in a ban from future Big or Mini Bangs.
🍒Can my story include an OC?
Sure, you may add OCs to your fic as minor characters, but remember that this is a FengQing event, so Feng Xin and Mu Qing should be the main focus of the story.
🍒Can I use a WIP that I've already started?
As long as your work hasn't been posted anywhere yet, you're free to capture any plot bunny you may have scampering around and use it as a starting place for your story!
🍒Can I write a sequel to a fic I’ve already written?
Fics for this event should be able to stand alone, so direct sequels are not permitted.
🍒Can I write/draw a crossover
Crossovers are not allowed for this event. Your art or fic should be TGCF only and for the ship fengqing.
🍒Can I use AI to write/make art
Generative AI is 100% banned for this event. Any use of generative AI will result in immediate removal from the event, and may result in a subsequent ban for any future event run by the FengQing Hub mod team. There is no grey area in this matter, no second warnings. Please don't use generative AI in this event.
🍒Can I sign up more than once?
Yes, but with limits, depending on the number of authors and artists who sign up for this event (i.e. an artist may draw for two separate fics). Participants may not sign up as both writer and artist for this event, though if you finish your creation early, you're more than welcome to pinch hit for art or fic if one is needed!
🍒Can I co-author/co-art?
Sure, with a maximum of two writers or artists working together on either side of the partnership. Just remember that you'll need to sign up as a pair, using one entry throughout the process with both of your emails and usernames included.
🍒Can I write a chaptered fic?
You're welcome to use any structure you'd like for your story, as long as it meets the 10k minimum and is fully complete at the time of posting.
🍒If I'm a writer and also an artist, can I sign up as both?
Participants may not sign up as both writer and artist for this event, although you're welcome to sign up to be a pinch hitter in addition to your art or story.
🍒What if there's a big bang participant I'd prefer not to work with?
Let the mods know on your sign-up form and we'll work in the background during claims to make sure you aren't paired with someone you'd rather not collaborate with during the event.
🍒What if I have an issue with my partner or a complaint about another participant?
Please bring any major issues to us in private so we can help. Be kind to fellow participants throughout the process, in your private discussions, on social media, and in the Discord server. We will have a three-strike system for repeated offenses, and we will not hesitate to ban a participant if negative behavior continues. No hate speech of any kind will be tolerated.
